People notice the warmth and joy that is ever-present at Vista; the friendliness, the strong community spirit. We hear it from visitors all the time. There’s a natural ease here: people look out for one another. Some say it feels like family. We know that there is a special bond between residents and staff. We are committed to being there for each other. We are taking precautions during these times but we are still social and enjoy intellectual and physical activities. We love a healthy lifestyle, a calendar full of virtual social events, and living life to the fullest.

Love where you live.
When people come together in community, they find enriching experiences. This is more than award-winning senior living. At Vista you’ll find a warm, engaging, comfortable environment with support, camaraderie, empathy, and interests to pursue—it makes all the difference. That’s home. That’s Vista del Monte.

For residents, by residents
Our communities are full of passionate people. To celebrate that, we started Shine!, a life enrichment program. It’s all about getting in touch with the unique skills and interests of the individuals who make up our communities, and giving everyone the space to be a teacher—and a student. Through this program, we invite everyone to tell us what’s important and interesting to them, and then we make those experiences happen.
Volunteer
Help in The Corner Store, our resident sundry shop, or serve on one of our popular committees. Whatever your specialty or passion is, your assistance is greatly appreciated. Having residents as volunteers is the best way to get people engaged and ensure that Vista del Monte stays true to the people who live here.
If you are not a resident of Vista del Monte, but you are interested in learning more about the variety of volunteer opportunities, please contact Fitness and Aquatic Center Manager Heidi Reyes at 805.879.5556 or via email at hreyes@frontporch.net.
Make a donation
Thanks to generous donors and supporters, the Front Porch Communities Foundation (FPCF), a 501(c)3 nonprofit charitable organization, helps older people flourish. Gifts to the FPCF assist residents who outlive their resources and support community improvements that enhance the quality of life. Employees also benefit through donations to the HEART Fund and Scholarship Funds. Your charitable donations through FPCF are tax-deductible as allowed by the IRS.
FPCF works with each Front Porch community, its executive director, and residents to raise funds that benefit your community.
